1. Use computers scientifically and rationally
By using standby instead of screen protection when the computer is not in use, each desktop computer can save 6.3 kilowatt hours of electricity per year, correspondingly reducing 6 kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions; each laptop can save 1.5 kilowatt hours of electricity per year, and correspondingly reducing 1.4 kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions. Turn down the computer screen brightness, turn off the computer and unplug it.
2. Scientific and rational use of paper products
Using electronic books and periodicals instead of printed books and periodicals; using emails instead of paper letters; reducing the use of paper cups; using handkerchiefs instead of paper towels. Each person can reduce paper consumption by about 0.17 kilograms per year, save energy by 0.2 tons of standard coal, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 0.57 kilograms.
3. Use printers and copiers scientifically and rationally
Turn off the power in time. When you are off work or not using it for a long time, you should turn off the power of the printer and its server to reduce energy consumption and unplug the plug at the same time; printer sharing, sharing a printer in the office can reduce idle equipment, improve efficiency, and save energy. ; Try to use small fonts when printing; use double-sided copying and printing, and use leftover materials wisely.
4. Use other office supplies scientifically and rationally
Reduce the use of disposable items and use handkerchiefs to wipe sweat and hands more often to reduce the waste of toilet paper and facial tissue. Use rags as much as possible; use ball pens and fountain pens with replaceable refills instead of disposable writing pens; reduce the use of wooden pencils. Use less wooden pencils and more mechanical pencils; reduce the use of benzene-containing solvent products, use more paper clips and staples, and use less benzene-containing solvent products, such as glue, correction fluid, etc.
